Gran Via travel

Gran Via travel is one of the most important travel agencies in the state. It has 10 branches and it organizes not only trips but also conventions and events. This project is an excellent opportunity for students of tourism fields as they will get practical experience in the area as well as use more Spanish. Volunteers will help with any and all administrative tasks. Of course, the more Spanish background a volunteer has, the more he/she will be able to assist in the office. Some volunteers in the past have been able to help provide information to clients, answer phones, and help in planning events and conventions of the agency. The travel agency is open year-round but does have months of less work due to a decrease in tourism; changes in the economy or simply seasonal changes when people travel less.
