October Oaxacan Art Packages

During the weeks of October 4th and October 11th, Solexico will be offering both Cooking and Oaxacan art packages.  The painting package will include:

**1 week of Regular Program 15 Spanish courses

**Materials for the class

**One two-hour alebrije class

**Three two-hour pottery workshops

**Tour to San Bartolo (to see the Oaxacan black pottery and the process on how to make it), San Martin (to see some authentic alebrijes made by some of the better known artists in Oaxaca) and visit Ocotlan’s Friday market

**Solexico’s normal activities such as salsa classes, intercambios, lectures and movies in Spanish

During the art class, students will prepare their own alebrije and pottery and take them with them for souvenirs.  The cost for one week is $250 USD.  We will be happy to assist you in organizing accommodations, either with one of our Oaxacan families or in a B&B or hotel.  Please contact us for discounted costs on accommodations or for information on discounts for participating in the cooking package for two weeks.
