Day of the Dead Package

Day of the Dead is one of the most popular and long-held traditions in Mexico and is particularly well known in Oaxaca.  You will see how the festivities combine both Christian and prehistoric views and traditions and how the entire pueblo of Oaxaca is involved and enthralled.    Our Day of the Dead Package will include:

**1 week of Regular Program 15 Spanish courses

**Materials for the class

**Two mask workshops

**One lecture on the Day of the Dead

**One cooking class to learn how to make traditional Day of the Dead foods and hot chocolate

**Visit to the market to purchase products and make the altar here in Solexico

**Tour de muertos on October 31st

**Solexico’s normal activities such as salsa classes, intercambios, lectures and movies in Spanish

The cost of the package is $220 USD, and we will be happy to assist you in organizing accommodations, either with one of our Oaxacan families or in a B&B or hotel.
