Solexico Playa del Carmen offers students the option to participate in one of our selected volunteer activities. We have visited each of the sites located in the city of Playa del Carmen to meet the administrators of the volunteer programs and to know the sites personally.

Following is a list of the programs we have selected

Angel Notion

Angel Notionis the only medical non-profit clinic located in the Playa del Carmen area, Quintana Roo, Mexico. We serve the needy in the communities along the Mayan Riviera with medical care, surgery, education, and dental care, along with many specialties and alternative medicines.  

We like to customize our volunteer program to fit each volunteer and the time of their service.

Some of the ways we utilize volunteers are:

Non-Medical

• Diabetes testing in the clinic as well as in rural Mayan villages,
• Cooking for diabetes club,
• Help with fund raising events
• Office work (input patient data spreadsheet)
• Receptionist
• Translators (English-Spanish)
• Prenatal Club
• Gardening & horticulture
• Maintenance and repairs
• Bazaar
• Graphic design
• Writers
• Promoters.


Medical

• Volunteers with medical backgrounds can do Medical Missions, according to their specialty.

Volunteers at Angel Notion

We like the volunteer to commit to work at least 1 day a week 2 hrs. minimum to 5 days a week 5 hrs.
