DELE stands for Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, or "Spanish as aForeign Language Diploma". It is the only certificate for non-native Spanish speakersthat is officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. This diploma is of greatinternational value for those who are going to study at a Spanish/Latin America Universityand who want to work, or are going to work in a Spanish speaking environment. We adviseeveryone taking a long term Spanish course to take the DELE examination.

There are preparation courses for each exam, according to the level of qualification (B1,B2, C1, C2) that can be obtained at all Solexico Spanish schools in Mexico. Up to today, avery high percentage of our students have succeeded. This does not guarantee that you willsuccessfully pass the official DELE exam, as this always depends upon variouscircumstances. However, we do guarantee you the high quality of these courses.

The place and time of the course are fully harmonized with the examination datesestablished by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Because of practical advantages moststudents take the DELE exam in Guanajuato, MEXICO, although it is also possible to takethe test outside Mexico. The examination fees are set each year by the Spanish Ministry,the Instituto Cervantes and each examination center.
